After completing his high school, Dharmesh could not continue his study further because of family problems. He remained unemployed youth for more than 2 years.

ESDP in computers and hardware, organized by DNFRD not only gave him skills to operate the computer but also boosted his self confidence to try his luck in computers.

Finally Dharmesh got success in getting job in reputed distributer's shop of Nerolac paints in Rishikesh.

Darshnanand Nautiyal Foundation for Rural Development is a trust started in the memory of Late Sri Darshnanad Nautiyal of village Ghansali District Tehri Garhwal of Uttarakhand state.

Vocational Training in moving in rural part of Uttarakhand

UVTC Ghansali is now moving deeper in the rural part of Tehri Garhwal and shortly planning to start activities in other districts of Uttarakhand.

Objectives of DNFRD

1- To improve education standards and facilities, in particular Technical Education by establishing or running the institute, promoting literacy, and offering value-based education.

2- To develop and strengthen a comprehensive, convergent, sustainable, and participatory rural development program.

3- To promote skill development activities, vocational and self employment training.

4- To empower rural women and youth.
