1) Women SHG in Rishikesh –

A women Self Help Group with 10 women members under the name of Pragati has been created in Rishikesh. These women were given 3 months entrepreneurial training to develop their skill level in dress making. The entire program was designed as per the guidelines provided by Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, Dehradun , a Gov of India unit under the ministry of MSME. Pragati SHG will be producing different ladies and children dress materials, home furnishing articles which will be supplied in local market. The technical support to this entire group will be provided by Mr. S.K.Nautiyal who bears 32 years experience of textile industry.

2) Job oriented training under the ministry of rural development (Gov of India) for BPL youths –

In collaboration with ILFS (Infrastructure Leasing and Financing Serves) a training is being given to the youths of BPL families in Rishikesh. After successful completion of this training they will get opportunity to work in different service sector in various locations.

3) Garment Production Unit in village Ghansali , district Tehri Garhwal –

Uttarakhand Vocational Training Center is providing SCVT approved one year course on dress making to the youths of village Ghansali and many others who live in the remote villages nearby Ghansali. Very soon a garment production unit is being planned to create job opportunities for the girls/ women who complete their training successfully. This production unit will manufacture different garments to cater the local market needs.
