| 1. Mr. Jitendra Singh |

Mr. Jitendra Singh was working in one of the FMCG companies in
Haridwar as market executive. He had a dream to do something like his own work,
but he had no clarity such as - what type of work to do? How he will be able to do it? etc
One day while reading news paper he saw advertisement of IIE for
entrepreneur development program through skill development in Computer,
which was going to be organized by DNFRD Rishikesh. As computers had always
attracted Jitendra he contacted DNFRD and enquired about the program and
finally decided to join ESDP though it was far away about 25 Km away from
Haridwar. The entire program on Computer appeared very interesting to him when
he learned Computer fundamentals, Software details Hardware details and
practical lesson during training along with business concepts and Government
help to new entrepreneurs. The whole course of ESDP motivated him to think about his dreams and finally he took decision to start his own hardware business with his friend. Mr.Jitendra is very happy and now working of his own.
He is in regular touch with DNFRD Rishikesh office, from where he is
getting full support. |
| 2. Mr. Dharmesh Kumar |

After completing his high school, Dharmesh could not continue his study
further because of family problems. He remained unemployed youth for more than
two years and was very much uncertain about his future. Dharmesh had never
operated Computer and no idea about how it works.
ESDP in computers and hardware, organized by DNFRD not only gave
him skills to operate the computer but also boosted his self confidence to try his
luck in computers.
Finally Dharmesh got success in getting job in reputed distributer's shop
of Nerolac paints in Rishikesh. Here he is working as operator for a computerized
machine, which makes different color mixing schemes. |
| 3. Mr. Rajesh Kumar |
 |
Being Graduate in Science Rajesh was struggling to get a job based upon
his qualifications, but was not able to get through. Since last two years Rajesh was
giving tuitions to local students and earning his bread and butter. He was not
acquainted with computers working.
ESDP in computer hardware and software, organized by DNFRD, not
only taught him the fundamentals of computers but also inspired him to start
thinking in a different way .With a creative idea he finalized to add computers in his
tuition syllabus and started teaching computers.
Rajesh is now getting a very good response from nearby students and
presently within first two months time he |
| 4. Mr. Raj Bardhan |

After passing intermediate Raj Bardhan started working in one of the hotel
in Haridwar. Raj Bardhan was always interested to know about computer so he
joined ESDP organized by DNFRD.
Raj Bardhan completed ESDP with great interest and learned
entrepreneurial skills, because he had a dream to establish and run his own
established business.
This course enhanced his level of confidence to plan his work. He decided
to set a hotel / guest house in Chomoli. Raj Bardhan is serious in this direction and

| 5. Miss Archana |
 |
Miss Archana is running a coaching centre, after completing post
graduation in history, and giving tuition to local students. She was not computer
savvy and knew very little about computers.
With an intention to know fundamentals of computer she joined ESDP in
computers and hardware and completed the same successfully. The whole
Entrepreneur Development Program impressed her very much and finally started
teaching computer tuitions from her home.
She is very happy as this EDP has increased her level of confidence and
she is earning more now. Even she has joined advance training course in
computers. she is more confident about her carrier. Her younger sister is also
encouraged and therefore she has joined Archana in the direction of progress. |
| 6. Miss Madhu Gairola |

Miss Madhu Gairola post graduate in English, started coaching classes,
after marriage.
After this ESDP course she started teaching computers along with other
subjects in her coaching /tuitions. Now she is happy because now she has started
earning more. |
